All the birch plywood we carry on stock is produced by companies throughout Eastern Europe & Scandinavia who’s policies on reforestation are second to none.
Each sheet of plywood is of multiply construction using Birch veneers throughout the construction thus making it one of the most stable and durable plywood products commercially available.
The make up of the products allows it to be used in products & trades too numerous to mention just a few are
musical instruments,toys,skateboards,construction,vehicle body building ,printing& engineering trades.

Gluelines

Clear interior glues for use in furniture and when being cut by laser – WBP glues for external and more demanding general uses.

Phenolic Overlayed Plywood

Available in smooth for use in the construction industries and patterned slip resistant for use in vehicle bodies & walkways

Grade Samples
B Grade
For high quality, painting, staining and lacquering, some selection may be required.
Mainly white veneers with no patches. Minimal light discolouration permitted.
BB Grade
Suitable for interior paint finish, overlays, films and veneering. Knots or holes over
6mm are replaced by oval or butterfly wood patches up to 20 per sheet. Dark and
light sound knots allowed.
CP Grade
Solid repaired wood patches up to 40 allowed, but generally no more than BB grade.
Heavy staining allowed.
WG Grade
For use where face appearance is not important. Sound knots up to 65mm allowed
and can also permit splits and open defects. Sanded.
Heavy staining, rough patches and glue percolation allowed. Can also be fall down
from higher grades.
C Grade
For use where face appearance is not important. Usually unsanded with splits and
small open defects
